July and back to work!

July was all about getting back to work for us. Tyson went back to work, we moved into my moms house, Ethan started potty training and everything was packed and put into storage at our old place.
A few weeks after we put the carpet in the old place we started showing it again. In the first week we had two people really interested in buying it. After several years of trying to sell off and on, we finally had it under contract!
We didn't make anything from selling it, but I am so grateful we didn't lose anymore than we did, especially at the worst time to sell. We are grateful our prayers were answered and in his mercy, Heavenly Father blessed everything to happen when it needed to happen. We will always love Pemberley, the ward and people taught us so much. I feel like we were meant to have some wonderful people come into our lives and be the examples we needed. I will always cherish the time spent there!

We started painting the new house in July, it was a lot of work! Tyson again decided to learn a new skill. The problem with that is...if he learns a skill, I will probably have to learn it too! He sprayed the walls with paint and I did the ceilings (with some help.....thanks Alan, Mama Vickie, Jeanette and anyone else that helped!)

My Birthday

We had a pick nick at the park that Branson takes care of for me and Grandma Vickie. It was so pretty and the kids loved the little stream. Isaac and Ethan are such adventurers, these pictures are the epitome of their summer. Tan skin, read cheeks, sticks to explore with and water. It doesn't get better than that when you are a little boy!

That morning some of our friends from Pemberley took us to Maceys to get ice cream cones! I love the pictures of Isaac and Lexie holding hands, he was telling her his grand stories and she was saying "Oh, wow!" and 'Uh ha!" to everything he said! Isaac loves a good audience!
We miss these friends so much, we spent most mornings with them in the summer.
We love you Pemberley friends!

In June we also went to Tyson's dad's house. You can only imagine what happens when you have a long slide, water and boys! I think my heart stopped a few times!

The Lake

We went to Deer Creek to just hang out. I think that is all we did in June, time stopped and we had fun with family.

Birthday

Posted by Picasa

In June for my birthday we went camping at the Gravel Pits, the camp site up by Tyson's Grandpas. Everyone was still in town and it was a lot of fun to get to hang out and relax after a hard month. I wish we could all get together more!

A long Summer.....

It has been a long summer in my family, maybe more like a long year! But this past summer I haven't blogged anything so I thought I would sit down and put down a few of my memories before they slip away.
The day after my last post I was watching the carpet guys lay the carpet in our town home, when I got a call from Kiersten saying Tyson's brother Clayson had past away.
Those few weeks after were an emotional roller coaster, but the time spent together as a family and memories shared were priceless. I'm so glad for the good times and videos that were made that helped ease the pain. Clayson was a lot of fun, and we miss him.

Happy Anniversary Honey!!!

The 30th of May was our 6th wedding anniversary! I can't believe I have been married to this wonderful man for six years! A lot has happened in that time and it seems to have gone by so fast, but at the same time I can't imagine what life would be like without him. He is the love of my life, and my best friend.....I love you Tyson!!!

Coming out of the Temple....I think he was a little shocked to be married!

I loved my wedding, I had a blast! We made everyone dance!

Yep, he was still in shock!

I think the dang best men forgot their tuxes were rented!

More dancing....nothing like doing the electric slide in a wedding dress!

Shake those booties!! Hayyyyy Maccaraina!!!!

This one wins the award for strangest picture of the night!

Owens Birthday

In April we celebrated Owens birthday (Rachel's little boy...I'm his favorite!). We also had a little Easter Egg Hunt and a Family get together. This is Owen on his new bike, all the boys were impressed!

Rachel's sweet friend Sarah came over to play and distracted Rachel while I got a few pictures. This was a week and a half before she had the twins...Isn't her baby bump cute!!

All the chaos in my family!! It's fun! Love you Heather! Good luck in DC!

Look at those sweet little boys! Oh...and Brady!

Chicks

Every year Grandma and Grandpa Hatch get baby Chicks and Lambs to put on their property. Isaac and Ethan love to play with animals when they are little and feed them once they get out side. I think the only animal they don't like is the goats Grandpa gets to feed the lambs, they can be mean!
On this day Tyson's sister Tasha her husband Doug and their little boy Stetson were at Grandmas house. We love it when they come out to play!

Molly Baby Shower

We had a baby shower for Molly a month ago. (I'm so behind!) It was a lot of fun! I did the decorations and some food and all the wonderful girls in my ward helped with everything else.

Some of the sweet babies that came! Little Stirling with the red hair...isn't he cute! The twins have their backs to the camera, they are Isaac's age. Isaac has always had a crush on one of them! Little Lexy and Emerson; I love all these babies!

The shower was a lot of fun! I am so excited to be close to Tyson's work, but I'm not looking forward to moving away from these wonderful ladies :(
Thank you Lisa, Lindsy, Amber and Brenda for all your help!

Congratulations Nik and Molly on your little one!

Park City

In February the boy's and I went up to see Tyson in Heber, a friend came to town and we went out to lunch. After lunch we went to see one of the homes Tyson designed in Promontory. It is amazing to see this beautiful home complete, I helped Tyson make the model that was required for this community when Isaac was a baby!
My sweet husband never fails to amaze me, he is such a wonderful example of the talents our Heavenly Father gives us. Tyson works so hard nurturing his talents and finding work in things he loves. This past month we have been working on our new home in Heber. While I have been stressed out of my mind, Tyson has been getting to work. Making lists for the bank, redesigning things in the home, making renderings of what he wants the house to look like, talking to sub contractors, reading up on how to do electrical (scary!), digging holes for water lines, peeling timber for a new stair case, moving the walls, talking to supply places, etc. etc. etc......
Tyson amazes me and exhaust me all at the same time!!!
I am grateful for his example to me and my boy's of forgetting himself and getting to work!
I'm also grateful to my Heavenly Father for such a great Husband and Father!!!
Thank you Honey!!

Fun in the Snow

One morning in January(yes I am trying to catch up!) after going to the chiropractor, we headed out to Tyson's moms house to play in the snow. Grandpa Blaine had hooked up a car hood to the back of Kierstans truck and everyone was having rides on it! I couldn't go out to play because I just went to the chiropractor and sailing through the air on a hood didn't seem to be the best recovery plan!
I did have fun watching through the window as the kids took there nice little rides around the field. I almost peed my pants when I looked out the window and saw Tyson, Branson or Clayson whipping around the field so fast the sled hardly touched the ground and when they flew off, it involved several cartwheels!! My heart stops just thinking about it!!!
Tyson and his brothers had fun making more home movies. The topic this time was extreme sports, all the guys had Arnold Schwarzenegger accents. The game was to see who got the most points for staying on the sled the longest, how rough the ride was, and how many times the sled hydroplaned!!! I had to remind Tyson how expensive broken bones are!!!
In all it was a great day, I love to see Tyson have so much fun with his siblings and Isaac!!
Now I am ready for spring!!!

Christmas

Christmas morning was so much fun. It makes such a difference when the kids know whats going on!! Isaac was thrilled with everything and wanted to open all the presents. Ethan wanted to just open one thing at a time and play with it right away!

Our friend form Japan Kiyoko Fujisawa, sent Isaac and Ethan presents for their birthdays, we thought they were for Christmas!! She is such a sweet lady, Isaac and Ethan loved having her family come visit last year! Thank you Kiyoko!

My moms house was next, with more fun present opening and a wonderful breakfast. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Munson!!
We than went to Tyson's moms for games and lunch. It was fun to see everyone! I am so sad we didn't get any pictures. I started to come down with a could at this point, and wasn't thinking clearly. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Hatch!

Last on our list was my Dads and Laurie's it was a great place to rest from the day of running. We had fun exchanging gifts, I gave Heather and Allen pajama pants that were "HUGE" I still need to get them back to fix them!! Sorry!!!
We had dinner and Grandpa made some of his wonderful treats!!
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Berg!!!

More December Fun!

We Had a fun family night setting up our Christmas Tree and decorating our house! Daddy wanted to put poinsettias and lights up on the shelf in the living room. Isaac helped and Ethan got to take a picture. It was scary for Mommy!

The finished product! This was Christmas Eve night.

A few years ago, I had the opportunity to meet my moms biological father. His name is Don and his sweet wife is Patty, they came up from California to visit before Christmas. It was fun to get to know them better, and learn more about our family genealogy. It was also surreal to look at Don and see family resemblance. We had such a nice time and the kids had fun with a new "Grandpa" and "Grandma" I hope they come again!!
I love that my family is so large, Isaac and Ethan get to love so many people and so many people love them. I also love that they have learned to be so accepting, of people and love everyone!

December Fun!

Isaac and Ethan's Birthday Party at my moms house. Isac was so excited to get this Geo Trax, he found it in an ad and told us everyday how much he wanted it! Thanks Grandma!

At the ward Christmas Party with some friends!!

My family cuts down Christmas Trees in Joseph every year. My brother-in-laws parents live down there and let us come see them. They are such sweet people!

We went out with my mom, step-dad Jim and brother Allen.
Mom took maters into her own hands and cut down my tree. It took to long for the guys to get there with the chain saw.

Hunting Season

We were blessed this hunting season, Tyson got a nice deer and elk.
The pictures of the deer were after the deer hunt, they were beautiful. Isaac and Riley were so excited to be hunting. When we saw the deer they would jump up and down and shout "there's the deer get them!!" I don't know how I feel about this, I hope my child doesn't have to go to counseling later in life! I do respect the lessons Tyson learned growing up around hunting and guns, I hope my son's will learn the same lessons!
