Isaacs Arm

About a month ago I came home from the store to Isaac screaming that his brother hurt his arm. Ethan loves to run into a room and jump on Isaac. I guess he somehow sat on his arm. After trying to see if it was nursemaids elbow (I know how to put that back in) and staying up all night, we decided to go see grandma at the ER. Grandma took some x-rays and a few doctors tried to mess with it, but we couldn’t figure it out. Finally I had to take him to Dr Wells, the specialist that my family goes to. Luckily Allen had an appointment that day so they let us come to his appointment. It turned out he did have nursemaids, but it was so bad he had to twist Isaac's arm in ways it shouldn’t go. I am so glad my mom was there because Isaac was screaming and I couldn’t handle seeing him like that. We also found out he had a small fracture at the top of the forearm and with all that he had to wear a cast for a week. This is us after the appointment, Isaac is loving his cast and I’m thinking we are going to be at the ER a lot with these boys!

Mama Mia!!

Two weeks ago, I went with my mom, my sisters to see Mama Mia. We got there an hour early and had nothing better to do than eat ice cream and take goofy pictures!

I loved the movie, it was so funny I couldn’t stop laughing. I also loved the music, I wanted to get up and dance! Everyone was dancing in their seats and singing along to the music! When we were walking to the car I overheard the only guy in the theater make the comment “ the movie would have been better if it hadn’t been for all the music”. I don’t think he realized it was a musical!

Caitlyn and I are in the top picture. Rachel and I in the one above. Mom and Rach below. Heather was late and I didn't get any pictures of her.

I stole this collage from Rachel.

Ethan

I love my sister Heather’s blog, she is always writing such inspirational poems and stories. This is one she wrote about Ethan, it is so beautiful. Thank you Heather!
Bright eyes,
where'd you get your light?
Who could put such life
in a babe?

Chocolate horizons you see through
with a match of wonder to compare,
dimpling smile that will change the world,
calm spirit to help us get there.

It's one thing to create a universe,
it's another to put it in someone's eyes.
If you're not the perfect example of a creation,
everything else could be denied.

I see God in you.
