Isaacs Arm

About a month ago I came home from the store to Isaac screaming that his brother hurt his arm. Ethan loves to run into a room and jump on Isaac. I guess he somehow sat on his arm. After trying to see if it was nursemaids elbow (I know how to put that back in) and staying up all night, we decided to go see grandma at the ER. Grandma took some x-rays and a few doctors tried to mess with it, but we couldn’t figure it out. Finally I had to take him to Dr Wells, the specialist that my family goes to. Luckily Allen had an appointment that day so they let us come to his appointment. It turned out he did have nursemaids, but it was so bad he had to twist Isaac's arm in ways it shouldn’t go. I am so glad my mom was there because Isaac was screaming and I couldn’t handle seeing him like that. We also found out he had a small fracture at the top of the forearm and with all that he had to wear a cast for a week. This is us after the appointment, Isaac is loving his cast and I’m thinking we are going to be at the ER a lot with these boys!

Oh! I need to check your blog more often (or get together and play more often) I'm sorry to hear about Isaac's arm! I can't even imagine being there for the arm twisting. Talk about torture! Someday you'll have to tell me about nursemaids, never heard of them.

How sad! It's so hard to see kids in pain! I'm glad he's enjoying his cast though.
I love the picture of your boys asleep on the floor and under the couch! Did that just make you smile when you got home!?
