Year in Review-April

We spent April at home. The boys had fun with Daddy painting Easter Eggs!
Alayna was always trying to eat Olivias head!

Year in Review-March

These are some of the last pictures before I had the girls! I love the one were I am reading the non stress test, I was on the mother baby floor because they were all out of room on labor and delivery. The Mother Baby nurses didn't know how to work the machine for the stress test so I would have to set everything up for them!
New babies! Rachel said it was 20 min in the operating room and we were done. Rachel and Grandma Vickie were on the other side of the door listening the whole time!
I wish I remembered the boys seeing the girls for the first time. I was flat on my back at the time with a spinal headache.  Everyone tells me Isaac was excited and Ethan was a little overwhelmed!
Isaac was always snicking into my room after the girls came home, he loves holding his sisters! I think this is the only picture I have of Bran right after the girls got home, I need to get one with Olivia and Bran, she loves it when Bran holds her!
Mom and Mama Vickie came to stay at the house for a few days after we got home. Olivia is such a little lady! I miss how little the girls were!

Year in Review-February

In February We spent Tyson's birthday and Valentine's day in the hospital. Tyson and Branson surprised me by finishing the bead bored in the nursery. Tyson get to drive down the beautiful canyon every day! Every night we sat around and watched the Olympics! The boys got to know the nurses and had their favorites!
My friend Lindsay thew me a baby shower! I had so many of my wonderful friends from Pemberly come, it was so wonderful to see them, I wish I could make it down to see them more often!

Year in Review- January

Looking back over my blog. I was sad to realize I hadn't put as many pictures up as I had thought! I can understand how it happened though. My pictures have been a mess this year and I am so happy that Tyson was able to fix them for me. I want to put some of my favorites up so I don't forget what an eventful year it has been.
In January Tyson and Branson took their boss Spencer up to his grandpas house to go Elk hunting. I think they were having to much fun in the snow to find the Elk. On the 28th of January I went into the hospital for the first time.

Olivia and Chandler

Caitlyn took this picture of Olivia and I love it! Olivia can be so serious and she love to take everything in before she smiles, so it is hard to get a picture of her smiling.

Such big girls!

Alayna Is rolling, sitting up, saying DaDaDa, loves to eat food and thinks she can get up on her hands and knees. She love laughter and loves to smile at people!
Olivia Is rolling a little, sits up most of the time, loves to always go go go, loves Daddy and being thrown up in the air! She also loves food might not give away her smiles, but takes everyone and everything in before she responds!

Caitlyn look some pictures of the girls on Sunday. I need to post all the ones I have taken lately, but I never seem to have time!

August and September

I need to post more pictures; I am hoping it will happen this weekend! At the moment all the kids are in bed so I thought I would get down a few happenings of the past two months before I forget!
Life has been crazy for me! Having four little ones is such a blessing, but sometimes the list of things I have to do is so long and I have a hard time figuring out what should go at the top. Playing with two baby girls, reading to the boys, watching them all learn and grow, cleaning the house, making dinner, spending time with extended family, exercise, laundry, on and on and on. It is all so much at times, I feel like I am just running all the time! One thing I have loved doing this past month, when I can do no more, is to head outside. I bring Isaac home from school and my friend Katie that lives right next to me, is out with her two kids and the two kids she tends. I head over to her house and our other friends Molly and Heather come by and all the kids play. It has been wonderful! Maybe not for my sad house that is falling apart by the day, but for my sanity! I have been so grateful to wonderful friends that have helped hold and watch babies the past few months, at church, at my house and outside. They are a blessing to my arms and sanity! Thank you!
Tyson had a fun time this month going on Branson’s limited entry Elk hunt in the Book Cliffs. They left on a Friday and wanted to be back to work on Monday, but didn’t get home until late Tuesday night! He got a nice 6/7 Elk that scored 315-320! I was glad to see them come home and grateful to my friend Molly for taking the kids for a little while Tuesday evening, I was beyond done having Tyson gone!
Isaac started school this past month at the local charter school! I have really liked it and I think he has too! The charter school is part of a lodge up in the mountains, the aria is used for a lot of activities on the weekend, and we have had fun participating in some of the activities! One of the things the school does is teach the kids cross country skiing, Isaac is excited! I am very proud of Isaac, he is such a smart boy, when I took him in for testing, he knew so much they thought about putting him in first grade. I didn’t think that would be a good idea. I thought it was funny when the teacher asked what preschool Isaac had gone to, she was surprised when I told her he hadn’t gone to any preschool! He loves to learn and soaks up any information I give him! All my naighbors love Isaac, they all comment on what a fun kid he is, and all the little girls love him! Oh I have a long road ahead of me!
Ethan has loved his time at home with me; he has been talking more and becoming his own person. He still has his ornery streak, but he is getting better! He is so shy, and I can remember feeling as shy as he feels when I was a child. He also loves to learn and loves to play games on the computer. I am so grateful to the K9 web protection website, Ethan is so smart and it is getting hard to keep him off the computer, but that website really helps a lot with keeping him safe! Ugh, the things my parents didn’t have to deal with!
Olivia doesn’t need a helmet, yeah! It has been on my mind for a while now and I finally had her checked out…..So nice to know! She is so sweet; she has her little high pitched voice and loves to squeal when she is happy! She started sucking her thumb at 4 months and she has to have a blanket or her little doll up to her noes when she is sucking her thumb and ready to go to bed! She is doing well rolling over, and is starting to sit up! She loves sweet potatoes and for being only 13lbs she can sure eat a lot! Her neck is getting better, but I wish it would stay that way, sometimes it will get kinked and it is a big pain for her and for me! We are going to check up on some shakes she has once in a while when she is half asleep, but I am not too worried about it being a problem.
Alayna is my singer, she loves to sing and talk, and she doesn’t have a high pitched voice like Olivia. But she is always making noises! She thinks she needs to be talking, singing, yelling or screaming if she is awake! I sing Broadway songs to her and she likes the fast ones the best! When she smiles her dimples steal the show! She is 17lbs now and rolling like crazy and doing really well at sitting up. She also loves sweet potatoes and doesn’t let me forget that she needs some every night! Alayna has been fussy lately and I wonder if she is pre-teething. I guess we will wait and see!

July

I want to write down what we are doing at least once a month! I know I should blog every week or every other week, but once a month is a good as I can do right now!
This past month we had fun with all the fireworks friends and family! We had our friends the Sprays over for the 4th and they took pictures of the babies!  It was a lot of fun!
We went to the Hatch family reunion again this year! It was a lot of fun as always, but a lot hotter this year.  We only staid one night, but I spent most of the time on grandmas bed with the girls trying to get out of the heat! The boys had a lot of fun at the lake looking for new adventures things to do, after a lot of contemplation, Tyson and Jeremiah decided to run his bike off the boat ramp into the water. It ended up being the form of entertainment for everyone at the lake!
The next day we staid over in Cedar City and went to the Munford reunion. It was a lot of fun to meet Tysons cousin Adam and his wife Hayley and their family. It is amazing to see Tysons resemblance to this side of the family!
My grandma came and staid with us for a week because my sister got married this month! It was a lot of fun to have Grandma stay with us and help out, the girls always love to have someone around to hold them when I just can’t! It was also fun to talk to Grandma about her experience with raising twins( my dad and his brother) She told me about how after she gave birth she didn’t even get to hold her babies until she took them home about 8 weeks later. When she got them home she would bottle their milk in a canner after she made it from PET brand evaporated milk! She also cloth diapered the twins and had four kids in diapers because they were so close in age!  She didn’t have high chairs so she would tie the boys to the chairs with dish towels to feed them. She did all of this before she was 20 years old! I have a lot to be grateful for!
As I said my sister got married! Caitlyn married Chandler on the 30th in the Draper Temple! It was so fun to see my baby sister get married! I can still remember the day she was born, my sweet little “Baby Cakes” got married! Everything was beautiful, and everyone did such a good job with planning it all out. I loved every minute of it; it had to be the best wedding I have been to in a while!  I will have to put pictures up soon.
Isaac is starting school in the next few weeks and I don’t know who is more excited, him or me! He is going to the Solder Hollow Charter School; it is in the building that housed the cross country ski stuff during the Olympics. He went in to be tested and he knew everything, several times the teacher asked him how he knew something and he said “It’s because I’m smart”. She was thinking that he should be put in the first grade but I was a little worried about that so I think he is just going to be left in Kindergarten.
Ethan is finally going to Primary on his own! While I was on bed rest he got used to Daddy coming with him to class. I was done with that so I took him a few time and let him know I would be back when I was finished feeding the babies. He has been fine ever since then, except it is still his nap time so he will fall asleep if he is too tired!
Alayna is getting so big! I just took the girls in for their four month visit and Alayna is 15lbs and 95% for height and weight in the normal baby chart! She loves her food and still wants to eat in the night. Last night I tried to not feed her in the night and it went really well. I hope we can keep it up! Alayna is all smiles and is starting to giggle! Today we had a long day and she was so tired, Daddy was holding her and she was having a melt down and for the first time I noticed that she was looking around for me and when she saw me she was sobbing so had she was shaking, poor girl. She is such a love I felt so bad! Both girls have also discovered their brothers and it is so cute to see the girls watch for the boys and smile and get excited to see them. At the same time, the boys love to get in the girls faces and when they do that the girls are done with them and can become hysterical with fear.  So mommy has to watch them a lot!
Olivia is my little girl; I have never had a child that was this petite! She is so little I still feel like she is going to break! She was 11lbs 10oz and 2in shorter than sister! She is in the 75% for height and 25% for weight. Her neck is doing a lot better and she loves to sit up with help. I think she will be the first to sit and crawl! She is all smiles too but a little more shy than Alayna about it! I have also discovered (with grandmas help) that she does not like having noise when she is eating, she also doesn’t want to be upset when she is about to eat! If I wait too long to feed her and she can hear things, she will stop eating and yell at me. It’s not a cry ether; she will look in my eyes and squawk at me in a mad way! Even then she is my sweet little china doll and I love her!
I have been loving Heber! The nights as so nice and I love to sit on the porch and look at all the colors in the sky as the sun goes down. I wish I could make it out to play in the day, but night seems to be the easiest time for me to get out. It has been a wonderful summer but I think it will be nice to get into more of a set schedule this fall.
