May 2012

We went to down to California in May. We stayed for a few days with my mom at a time-share in San Diego and had fun visiting Grandma and Grandpa Lindshield at their house in Escondido. We also had Grandma Evelyn and Uncle Jerry over to the condo for diner.

On our trip Grandma and Grandpa Smutz got us tickets to Sea World, it was about a week before a new ride opened up so their was hardly anyone in the park.

The kids loved getting to see the dolphins and the Shamu Show up close with hardly anyone there!

The kids did a good job patting the water so the dolphins wold come over and let us pet them.

The dolphins had fun getting us wet!

Olivia didn't like getting wet!

It has been about 20 years since I had been to Sea World, it was so fun to share that experience with the Kids and Tyson who have never gone!

The kids loved Shamu!

After Sea World We went to have diner with Grandma and Grandpa Smutz. It was nice to visit and see their fun house with all the fun things they have found on their travels! It was fun to get to know them a little better as well, we don't get to see them that much.

The last half of the week we went up to Disneyland for three days. We met up with our friends the Smiths, they have 4 children like us with two boys about our boys age and two girls with one being 10 days older than the girls. It was so nice to have such a similar family structure, it made splitting up for rides and hanging out a lot of fun!

We could not get the girls out of Minnie's house,I think we spent way to long there!

It was so fun to see the joy on the girls (and boys...cough) faces!

You can't go wrong with bugs life land!

We were not that into taking pictures with characters, we would have likes to, but the standing in line thing to say "Hi" didn't sound as fun as going on a ride.

This is what happens when Mommy takes Isaac on Indiana Jones!

Love them!

So fun when you finally find your friends. They love Kaden and Carter!

The girls with Bella and Tori in Bugs Life Land.

All the kids were so worn out on the first day!

We loved the Toy Story ride, I would have loved to go again, but we didn't feel like standing in the LONG line again! The kids were so cute though!

The boys couldn't miss the opportunity to see Buz!

I would not say we are "Disneyland People", but I do hope we can get back in the next few years. The kids had a lot of fun and it was fun to see their joy in the "Magic Kingdom".
